What we are all about:

"Heaven's Anglers" is the St. Louis chapter member of FOCAS (Fellowship Of Christian Anglers Society). Incorporated in 1997 as a nonprofit organization, "Heaven's Anglers" functions as a Christian bass club and a ministry.

Each chapter maintains a membership and a directory of officers that oversee the functions of the chapter. Each chapter is responsible for responding to the call of ministry to their own who have fallen from the Gospel and taken their eyes off of Jesus, much like the people of Galatia and Colosse. As Paul emphasized that the people repent and return to their walk with Christ and to serve as witnesses for Jesus, so the FOCAS Chapter does also.

What Is Our Purpose:



Heaven's Anglers as a ministry allows members to participate in a wide variety of ministry functions in the community. The club has an A.C.T.I.O.N (A Christian Team In Our Nation)committee that is comprised of directors that help determine the direction for the clubs activities. The outreach ministry includes reaching out to our youth and seniors.

Benefit tournaments are held to help support youth camps. The club also has a senior ministry that reaches out to the elderly at nursing homes and senior citizen retirement centers.

What We Do:



Heaven's Anglers as a Christian Bass club offers members to fish tournaments (there are 10 per year) within the club regulations of Christian perspectives. All tournaments are held on Saturdays. Prayer is said before each tournament and guests are welcome. All caught fish are released unharmed back into the waters from which they were taken. The tournament members are paired by a draw at regular momthly meetings.
